Technote Number: 1197472
Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# DWON696L7Q (APAR#
LO06426) and fixed in Domino 6.5.5 and 7.0.1. The crash is known to occur only
on the AIX platform; it does not occur in Domino 6.5 on Microsoft Windows
2000. Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading Notes/Domino.
The problem is not language-pack specific and has been reproduced with no
language pack applied on the server.
A workaround for earlier releases is to avoid using this functionality or
switching the dictionary.
Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.5 and 7.0.1 fix list
(available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):
SPR# DWON696L7Q - With this fix, a crash will not occur after switching the
spelling dictionary from the server default dictionary (English) to the
Portuguese (Brazil) dictionary. More >
